The community-based rehabilitation project developed in the province of Ruyigi is ongoing. It seeks to achieve recognition and integration of people with disabilities in their home environment by involving the community, local authorities and families. Handicap International has been working in close partnership with SOPRAD (Solidarity for the promotion of assistance and development) in Ruyigi.
