Our first physiotherapists arrived in Haiti on 18 January 2010 to offer emergency care in the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hospitals in Choscal, Martissant and Chancerelle. During the first three weeks following the earthquake, both of our organisations’ teams provided medical and paramedical treatment to patients. The sheer volume of wounded people made prioritisation a necessity, so those most seriously wounded were treated first.
