Our team quickly provided physiotherapy treatment in hospitals, then established rehabilitation projects. From March onwards, Handicap International concentrated its efforts at Sarthe Hospital, the leading surgical and post-operative centre. A room for physiotherapy treatment and an appliances workshop were opened there to facilitate the rehabilitation of patients and produce temporary prostheses for amputees.
